Why download and purchase a web analytics tool when you can use Google's web-based Urchin Analytics for free?
Everybody follows the direction of Google and since the company acquired Urchin Software Corporation in March 2005, there have been a number of web analytics tools that has been introduced in the web.

Google Analytics could hurt companies like Web Trends, Web Side Story and Click Tracks, and others focusing on the small to medium-size business market, Peterson said. "It will hurt the low-end focusing on the SMB market," he saidDownside about this though is you won't be able to use this tool if your blog is hosted by Blogger. I've been trying it to no avail.
